About us

We are an independently owned Paris based tour operator, specializing in First and Second World War tours.

We offer private guided trips in air-conditioned Minivans and cars.

PBT was founded by two experienced and licensed tour guides, with over 16 years of experience as major actors in the industry. In other words, if you’ve already been to Paris you might have already toured with us!

We started young and over the years progressively came to the idea of creating our own business based around high quality, informative and enjoyable guided tours around France and further afield.

To make sure you’ll have a wonderful and authentic time traveling with us, we work with French tour guides with many years experience in the industry. These people are not only knowledgeable about war related subjects, but also about their culture, customs, gastronomy, politics and much more. All our guides speak English fluently and are licensed (registered tour guide with a BA degree or higher).

For your comfort and safety, all our tours are done in Mercedes Viano minivans and/or Renault Espace vehicles.

For bigger groups, we can provide you with 15 seats or more buses. Just ask us!

At Paris World War Tours, we believe that all the time you spend with us should be a memorable experience !

Our WWI & WWII tours

Our WWI tours will bring you out to important sites for the Australian, British, Canadian and New Zealand forces, including Beaumont-Hamel, the Lochnagar crater, Thiepval, Villers-Bretonneux, Vimy, Ypres and many more.
Over the years we’ve assisted hundreds of travelers in finding and visiting the burial sites of long lost relatives in one of the many World War cemeteries in Belgium or France. We are more than happy to go out of our way and off the beaten track to make sure you get the most out of your time spent with us.
For those interested in the D-Day and the Second World War, our main trips will bring you to the spectacular French west coast, Arromanches, the Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery, Juno Beach, Sainte Mère l’Eglise, Utah beach and much more along the way.
We are also happy to provide you with a tailor-made tour that revolves around the military actions of any particular country that took part in the D-Day operations. Please feel free to ask !

On two day trips or more, we recommend joining us on a tour of the beautiful Mont Saint Michel and the Normandy region, or perhaps crossing the border to with us into Belgium or Luxembourg for a more in-depth trip following the path of soldiers.

All our tours are designed to be customized and we encourage our clients to let us know if there is anything they want to add to the itinerary.

Our motto is simple: Tell us what you feel like seeing and we will do whatever we can to make it happen!

Prices

We offer private guided trips to the WWI battlefields as well as to all the main D-Day (WWII) sites.

Prices range from 990 euros (1 to 2 people) to 1300 (7 to 8) for a day trip (around 12 hours) to the D-DAY area.

For a WWI related trip, we charge 860 euros (1 to 2 people) to 1100 (7 to 8).

For 2 day trips or more, please feel free to contact us!

All prices include hotel pick up/drop off, transportation for the duration of the tour and the service of a knowledgeable tour guide.
Save yourself hours of wasted time picking up and dropping off rental cars, trying to find your way across the French countryside and losing half your day looking at maps.

The prices of our private tours are even more cost effective when there are 4 of you or more, so consider getting a group together. The more the merrier !
